DELIVERY CHARGES – WHITE LION SCIENTIFIC

1. Overview
White Lion Scientific is committed to providing a reliable and efficient delivery service. This page sets out our standard delivery charges and conditions applicable to orders placed via our website at https://whitelionscientific.co.uk.
All delivery charges are calculated at the time of ordering and will be clearly displayed before you complete your purchase.
2. Standard Delivery
(a) Standard delivery is available on all eligible orders to addresses within the United Kingdom.
(b) Our standard delivery charges are as follows:
- Orders under £50 (excluding VAT) — £6.95 delivery charge
- Orders of £50 and over (excluding VAT) — FREE standard delivery
(c) Standard delivery is typically fulfilled within 3–5 working days from the date your order is confirmed, subject to stock availability.
3. Express Delivery
(a) Express next working day delivery is available on orders placed before 2:00pm Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), subject to stock availability.
(b) Express delivery charges are as follows:
- Next working day delivery — £12.95 per order
- Saturday delivery (where available) — £18.95 per order
(c) White Lion Scientific cannot guarantee next working day delivery in the event of circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including adverse weather conditions or courier delays.
4. Delivery to Highlands, Islands & Remote Areas
(a) Deliveries to Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight and other remote or offshore locations may be subject to additional delivery surcharges and extended delivery timescales.
(b) Any applicable surcharges will be clearly displayed at checkout before you complete your order.
(c) If you are unsure whether your location attracts an additional charge, please contact us at info@whitelionscientific.co.uk before placing your order.
5. International Delivery
(a) At this time, White Lion Scientific delivers to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
(b) If you require delivery outside of the United Kingdom, please contact us directly at info@whitelionscientific.co.uk to discuss your requirements and we will do our best to assist.
6. Delivery of Hazardous or Restricted Goods
(a) Certain products, including chemicals, hazardous materials and temperature-controlled or refrigerated items, may be subject to specific delivery restrictions, additional handling charges and specialist courier requirements.
(b) Where applicable, any additional charges will be communicated to you prior to despatch.
(c) White Lion Scientific reserves the right to decline delivery of restricted goods to certain locations where safe and compliant delivery cannot be guaranteed.
7. Failed or Missed Deliveries
(a) If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to no one being available to receive the order, our courier will leave a notification card with details of how to rearrange delivery or collect your parcel from a local depot.
(b) If a second delivery attempt is required as a result of circumstances within your control, White Lion Scientific reserves the right to apply an additional redelivery charge in line with our standard rates at that time.
(c) If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange redelivery. Additional delivery charges may apply.
8. Damaged or Missing Items
(a) All orders are carefully packed to minimise the risk of damage in transit. However, if your order arrives damaged or items are missing, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt by emailing info@whitelionscientific.co.uk.
(b) Please retain all original packaging as this may be required when raising a claim with our courier.
(c) White Lion Scientific will arrange for a replacement or refund as appropriate, in accordance with our Returns Policy.
9. Changes to Delivery Charges
White Lion Scientific reserves the right to amend delivery charges at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page and will apply to orders placed after the date of the update. Charges applicable at the time of your order will always be displayed clearly at checkout.
